A cohort's brother-in-law may be bringing back some Crystal Skull vodka from Edmonton tonight! May the Lords be with us!

CAN WE TALK WINE GLASSES FOR A MOMENT?
Wine glasses. Everyone talks about them and you'll find them pop up in the most unexpected places. I once found some at a restaurant and when I was snooping around my neighbour's kitchen, WHOOP! THERE THEY WERE! So here's the scoop: They are a very VERY popular drinking vessel and they suck! People are always spilling their wine or drink when using these shitty glasses. Why do they exist and why do we insist on using such a stupid glass?! What are we? Neanderthals? Let's get our modern brains fired up and come up with a better type of glass. I'll say it just one more time: Wine glasses suck donkey holes.
YETI FOOTPRINTS FOUND?
Thanks Samilski!
From Yahoo! Canada News:
An undated handout picture from Yeti Project Japan, received on October 20, 2008, shows what is alleged to be the footprint of a Yeti (left) measured on the Dhaulagiri mountain and compared to a human footprint (right). A team of Japanese adventurers say they have discovered footprints they believe were made by the legendary yeti said to roam the Himalayan regions of Nepal and Tibet.

JOHN MCCAIN: TURD-BURGLAR
I caught the tail end of the final debate last night and when it was over, the two got up and were asked to come around the desk to the front of the stage and shake hands with the moderator. Grampa John however misfired and started following Obama when he realized that he was supposed to go off in the opposite direction. Realizing this gaff, he made this face, did a quirky little move that basically said "OH! I've just shit my pants on live TV better have fun with it" and finally exited in the proper direction. I remember thinking to myself "Holy crap! I hope someone took a photo of that!" You can see it happen below at 4:28:
I was pleasantly surprised to see this photo on an animator's monitor this morning. It's funnier than I even imagined it would be. The animator thought it was photoshopped. I invite you to send me your photoshopped versions of this amazing image. Here's mine:

DANGEROUS MINDS
Here's a new internet talk show called Dangerous Minds. Johnny Knoxville is the pilot episode's guest and he and his piss-bag are interviewed in "low-brow" artist Coop's place.

TILT-SHIFT VIDEOS
A while ago I got into tilt-shift photography. Here's one of my better pieces:
I always wondered what it would be like to apply the same idea to video. Keith Loutit has done just that and the results are great. He sped the footage up too which really gives it some punch.

HALLOWEEN PARTY AT THE OVERLOOK HOTEL
"Come Play With Us" is one of the best Halloween parties I've heard of! 220 clams gets you two tickets to a 20's-themed Halloween party at the infamous Timberline Lodge (where the exterior Second Unit footage of The Shining was filmed), a room (I want room 237), dinner, 6 cocktails, limited edition silk-screened poster, VIP gift package, breakfast and more. The tickets go on sale this Friday at 2:00. It's almost tempting me to forego my America boycott (which will continue if Republicans win the election).

A VERY LARGE WORM
CRYSTAL HEAD VODKA
Check out how awesome this bottle of vodka is. I'm heading to the liquor store and buying 13 of these as soon as I hit "publish post." I didn't even bother to watch the videos on the website which feature Dan Aykroyd (the man with an alien-planet for a last name) so what he's jibber-jabbin' about I don't know (and don't care). I just want the skull bottle (13 of them).
UPDATE: Just watched the first video and it's manufactured in Newfoundland and using the finest Newfoundland water, Crystal Skull Vodka is not only quadruple distilled, but it's "filtered using Herkimer diamonds." Ha ha!

THE LEAGUE OF SUPER EVIL
Nerd Corps (the CGI animation house I am directing at) has finally released the trailer for our new series The League of Super Evil. I was fortunate enough to work on 6 11-minute episodes before having to move on to series-direct a new up-coming top-secret series. BONUS! I edited the trailer you are about to see... click the image above to watch the trailer!
