I caught the tail end of the final debate last night and when it was over, the two got up and were asked to come around the desk to the front of the stage and shake hands with the moderator. Grampa John however misfired and started following Obama when he realized that he was supposed to go off in the opposite direction. Realizing this gaff, he made this face, did a quirky little move that basically said "OH! I've just shit my pants on live TV better have fun with it" and finally exited in the proper direction. I remember thinking to myself "Holy crap! I hope someone took a photo of that!" You can see it happen below at 4:28:I was pleasantly surprised to see this photo on an animator's monitor this morning. It's funnier than I even imagined it would be. The animator thought it was photoshopped. I invite you to send me your photoshopped versions of this amazing image. Here's mine:
